What is Every Door Direct Mail™ (EDDM™)?
It is a program created by the USPS, primarily for business use, that enables you to reach every customer in your local neighborhood(s) without having the addresses. It reduces your costs by eliminating the need for mailing lists and costly services such as tabbing and inkjetting.

How much does it cost?
There are several factors that play into your total cost per home. Production costs (design, printing, folding, bundling, etc) and postage costs will determine your rates. By mailing larger quantities, you can obtain "all inclusive" rates as low as $0.29 per home.

How long does it take?
The turnaround time varies from customer to customer. In general, the entire production and mailing process usually takes from two to four weeks to deliver into mailboxes. The creative process (design) often largely determines your total turnaround.

How do I choose where I want my direct mail offers to deliver? What if I don't want to mail to an entire ZIP Code?
We have developed a proprietary "point & click" online tool, named U-Select, to make targeting your distribution areas a breeze. Simply login, type in your starting address (business mailing address) and click on the areas you wish to target. You can fine-tune your selections down to the carrier route (neighborhood) level. There is no easier way to target and save your mailing areas online.

Does my mail deliver to every home, apartment, business, and PO Box?
With EDDM™, your mailing delivers to every mailbox along the chosen routes — delivered by USPS Letter Carriers. You MUST deliver to all residential addresses, however, you may opt out of including businesses and/or PO Boxes at no additional cost.

What size does my mail offer need to be?
The EDDM™ program requires you to mail commercial flats. A commercial flat must be more than 6.125" tall OR longer than 11.5" wide. The largest size the mail piece can be is 12"x15" to qualify. The mailers must also be equal to or greater than 0.007 thick.

Can I print my own pieces and use EveryDoorDirectMail.com just for the mailing?
No. To get the best results and lowest "all inclusive" rates, you must produce and mail your offers from EveryDoorDirectMail.com. We provide easy, affordable, one-stop-shopping for all of our clients. In many cases, it will cost you more to design, print, and mail your own pieces at home (with lower quality results) when compared to ordering our "all inclusive" packages for as little as 0.29 per home.

What are the response rates?
This is a very common question but there is no accurate way to predict results.
